Q:
What is your current favorite OM piece?

A:
I am totally obsessed with the Flowy Pants! I love the softness of the fabric and the way the garment moves during practice.

Q:
What is your favorite way to move your body/what does your daily practice look like?

A:
My two favorite ways to move my body dancing & yoga, they compliment each other. My daily practice starts off with 10 sun salutations & then after that I practice freestyle yoga flows that sometimes include dance movements.

Q:
How long have you been practicing yoga and what got you started?

A:
I first got into yoga back in the early 1990s. My husband and I were living in a commune called The Loft in downtown San Diego. It was the crossroad of technology and spirituality coming together with a mix of eclectic artists, musicians, and yogis—guided by Sufi master Murshid Isa Kadre. They offered Sufi chanting and dancing, Kundalini Yoga and a form of Tantric Yoga meditation called Rudra, as taught by Swami Rudrananda (Rudi). Kundalini Yoga was the first style of yoga that I practiced and then Ashtanga. Afterward, I started incorporating Vinyasa Yoga in my practice which is a style I love because of all the creative flows that can be put together. Then eventually I decided to get my certification as a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher to expand my yoga practice and be able to share it.

Q:
What are your favorite life hacks?

A:
Always be grateful for everything, to always be positive and see the good in every bad or unfortunate situation. It has helped me cope well with anything stressful that happens and showed me to live mindfully and be cohesive with life.
